Southampton City Council invites applications from suitably experienced contractors who wish to tender for one or both of: (1) the removal of the existing heating boiler and the installation of a new heating boiler installation to an existing Primary School. The works shall include all connections, testing and commissioning - estimated value £95,000( 2 ) The removal of existing hot and cold water pipework, the installation of new hot and cold water pipework and all connections, testing and commissioning in an existing junior school- estimated value £90,000. Deadlines for submission of prequalification questionnaires is to be by 17th May 2013. Time 12:00. It is anticipated that tender docs will be issued 24th May 2013 with a commencement on site late July 2013.The expected duration of the works for the removal of the existing heating boiler and the installation of a new heating boiler installation to an existing Primary School (1) is 8 week. The expected duration of the removal of existing hot and cold water pipework, the installation of new hot and cold water pipework and all connections, testing and commissioning s (2) is 10 weeks. A minimum of three and maximum of eight tenderers will be invited to tender for the works.
