Tender description

Please ensure you open and read the etender document (included as an attachment in this process) which contains full instructions and details Below is a summary of what is required 2 Specification of Requirements 2A. Three stackable 1/10 distribution switches: I. The stackable switches must be capable to operate as a single data- and power stack. II. The stackable switches must have the data stacking throughput of at least 480 Gbps; III. The stackable switches must support power stacking; IV. The stackable switches hardware must be able to operate as a wireless controller whenever it becomes necessary in future (the relevant software is not required at this point); V. The stackable switches must have at least 48 10/100/1000Mbps twisted pair ports; VI. The stackable switches must support at least four (4) SFP+ 10GBps ports per unit, with one or two units having four or more 10Gbps ports actually installed per unit; VII. At least two of the switches must support full IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) with 30W of power on all 48 twisted-pair ports; VIII. All PoE-enabled switches must have power supplies rated for at least 1100WAC; additionally, at least one more such power supply should be available for sharing between the members of power stack; IX. A basic Layer 2 switching software licence is sufficient. 2B. One standalone 1/10 distribution switch for a shallow rack: I. To fit the available shallow equipment cabinet, the dimensions of the switch must not exceed 45x445x300mm (HxWxD); II. The standalone switch must have at least 48 10/100/1000Mbps twisted pair ports and at least two (2) SFP+ 10GBps ports; III. A basic Layer 2 switching software licence is sufficient. It is highly desirable for the standalone switch to be running the same operarting and management system as the stackable switches described in the paragraph 2A above.
