Provision of Data Operators Services - Contract award

Contract has been awarded to Gilligan Black. The NEWB requires a contractual arrangement with a suitable agency for the provision of this service as outlined below: Notification of one week will be given of requirements for data operators for the following time periods: • January/April/June/November • Up to 4 weeks data entry work for each time period (timeline may be extended depending on service requirements) • 1 or 2 data entry operators will be required depending on the volume of data received • 7 hours daily, total 35 hours a week maximum. At times there may be a requirement for data entry operators to be available at short notice. NEWB will notify the contractor by noon for an operator the following morning. This is of the utmost importance in the provision of this service. The contractor must have suitably qualified data operators available. The contract will be in place for a total of 3 years dependent on a review each year in line with service requirements. The contract may then be renewed for a further year dependent on cost, performance and service requirements. The supplier must be able to supply references for proposed staff to include statement of trustworthiness and good character, In addition respondents must state if additional security checks are carried out on staff proposed for data entry. Costs are to be provided on an hourly basis, showing all breakdowns and any other charges and VAT.
