Tender description

The Trust is the corporate trustee for the Heart of England NHS General Charitable Fund (“Donated Funds”). Over time, Donated Funds has accumulated just over £7m of funds. This sum is currently invested with two Investment Managers but the Donated Funds Committee (the “Committee”) of the Board considers the performance over recent times to have been somewhat volatile and to have generally underperformed the market. The Committee has reconsidered its Risk Appetite and is looking to transition to a lower risk structure than is currently the case. The Committee now wishes to appoint a single Investment Manager to manage its investments. Please download and read the Invitation to Tender document provided within the 'Attachments' section for a description of the requirement, procurement process, evaluation criteria and the required structure for commercial proposals. Completed commercial proposals must be uploaded where indicated in the ‘Commercial Envelope’. Proposals submitted after the deadline or proposals which seek to vary the terms and conditions quoted may be disqualified. The applicable contractual terms are available in the Attachments folder. The evaluation of proposals shall be at the sole discretion of the Trust. The Trust is not bound to accept the lowest priced or any other offer. The Trust will have the ability to terminate upon annual review and subject to permonace as per the attached.
