Tender description

TG4 invites tenders for Business Consulting Services for TG4, Baile na hAbhann, Co. na Gaillimhe. The period of this contract is for up to 3 years, commencing on 29/08/2011, which may be extended for a further 2 years by mutual agreement. We are seeking the services of a senior consultant with knowledge of the television broadcasting industry to assist the management team for a period of approx 30 days per annum spread across the year.TG4 must prepare and publish a number of key strategic and review documents including- An annual Statement of Performance Commitments- A five-year Statement of Strategy – updated annually- An Annual Review and Annual Report- In addition to other documents required from time-to-time including Public Service Statement, Customer Service Charter, Code of Practice for the Handling of Complaints amongst othersThe work would entail management sessions, developing and reviewing corporate vision and strategy, market and industry analysis, analysis of the internal and external environment, clarifying strategic direction and or reviewing and updating the existing strategic plan in addition to strategic performance measurement and management. The development of TG4’s Annual Statement of Performance Commitments and the delivery of a detailed annual Review of the Organisation will also be required. This review should be a comprehensive review covering all areas of operation, financial performance and programming output performance.Please forward details of previous experience, previous client references and confirm that you will be able to provide relevant insurance cover if selected.
