Tender description
The contract for Provision of Veterinary Services to BIM has been awarded to Vet Aqua International. No of tender submissions: One(1) The Aquaculture Technical Section of BIM undertakes trials with the Aquaculture Industry. As part of this process, it is planned to carry out land based trials on treatments for salmon in respect of Amoebic Gill Disease. The trials will be conducted in conjunction with a licensed research facility. The selection of the research facility is the subject of a separate tender process which should be completed in the same time scale as this tender and therefore should be know prior to contract for services being finalised. In addition BIM will require veterinary service and inspections to be provided at specified farm locations for a range of species.
