Swansea - Provision of Home to School Transport Services

Tender description

1.1 Within this tender the Council invites tenders for the provision of mainstream Home to School Transport Contracts. The individual services are to be let as individual contracts as described in detail in the Specification and Time Table information uploaded to the 'Buyer Attachments' area. The Council is seeking to appoint contractors who can deliver a reliable, high quality, value for money service. Full details are contained in the invitation to tender documents. Please note that these set out the Council’s minimum requirements. You should make sure that you set out the ways (if any) in which you would exceed these minimum standards in the information you submit to us. Tenderers have the opportunity to bid for 30 individual contracts included in this tender. Tenderers are encouraged to submit combination bids they may be able to offer within their available resources. It is anticipated individual or combination contracts will be awarded for a period of 2 years with an opportunity to extend for up to 24 months or part therefore as determined appropriate by the Council.
