Tender description
A service to cover all Young Peoples and Adult Drug and Alcohol services, to enable people to achieve tangible outcomes and to improve the lives of individuals, families and communities affected by drug and alcohol issues. Providers will need to; have a proven track record in delivering services, recognise the importance of the wider family and community and focus on a recovery model and the social re-integration of Service Users. Services will be expected to work closely with other health and social care providers (education, housing, employment etc) and community assets such as voluntary organisations and peer led initiatives to form a comprehensive drug and alcohol, support, treatment, recovery and advocacy service. Providers may wish to consider a consortia approach to delivery, or to subcontract aspects of the service to specialist organisations. Our aim is to provide a locally delivered, integrated, multi agency response to the issues surrounding drug and alcohol misuse. Successful organisations will be required to deliver services in one or more of the following areas: Contract 1 – Young Peoples Early Support and Planning service (working with children and young people aged 11- 24 years) Contract 2 – Assessment, Review, Monitoring and Recovery Planning service (ARM) (working with adults 25 years and above) Contract 3 – Delivery of Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Recovery service (DDATRS) (delivering services to young people and adults) Providers may apply to deliver one or more of the services listed above. However, the provider for Contract 3 will NOT be appointed to deliver either Contract 1 or 2 The service is intended to commence 1/4/2014. Please note that a PQQ Bidder’s day will be held. Please note that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) may apply to the services.
