SP - Homelessness Floating Support Service

Tender description

A Supporting People service for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness (including ex-offenders). The service is to provide a floating support service. The provision of the service will be on a block contract basis with an intended commencement date of February 2012. The current service is provided under three contracts, one providing an accommodation based lifeskills service, one providing a floating support service to individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness and another providing a floating support service to ex-offenders. The new service will group these services together as one city wide floating support contract. At the outset the service will provide 526 hours of direct support per week to be delivered across the city. Southampton City Council reserves the right to increase the above number of hours during the term of the contract by an anticipated maximum of 100 hours to 626 hours. Southampton City Council reserves the right to decrease the number of hours to provide an anticipated (or expected) minimum of 400 hours per week during the term of the contract. If the above changes occur, they will be agreed through a variation to the contract.
