Tender description

The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham will award a contract to maintain various audio visual systems installed in Barking Town Hall, Roycraft House and the Civic Centre, Dagenham. Most of the equipment is contained within systems permanently installed within council chambers, committee and training rooms together with associated lighting equipment (dimmers). The specification consists of the following: • The extended warranty of all elements of the audio visual systems • Repair of any faulty items • Replacement of any faulty item that cannot be repaired with an equivalent item of identical or better quality • Replacement of any faulty item with a spare while a repair is underway • Emergency cover on-site response • One preventative maintenance visit per year • 12 audio/visual health check visits for the Council Chambers to be carried out directly before important events • Quarterly performance review meetings
