Tender description

Cork City Council has a large Local Area Network covering 60 sites, 800 staff, 120 Public Library PCs and laptops. We are generally a Microsoft site using Active Directory 2008, Exchange 2010, Windows Server 2003 and 2008 and MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005. We have a VMWare 4 environment built on ESX with 60 Virtual Servers as well as 60 physical servers.We have some open source applications and servers. We intend to expand our Open Source environment, with two initial projects using Alfresco and Sugar CRM (Please see Appendix D). In order to maintain a high level of service for our end users we wish to engage the services of a specialist company to provide additional support to the IS Department in Open Source projects.See attached word document for full details
