Tender description

ITT for the Evidence Review to inform the redesign of the Rural Development Programme for England Socio-Economic (Axes 1 & 3) post 2013 (RE0258). The Department for the Environment Food and Rural Affairs, supported by funding from the Rural Development Programme, wish to commission a review of the evidence relating to two of these four Axes, Axis 1 and 3. The primary purpose of the review will be to develop robust evidence to inform the design of policy and delivery to meet relevant objectives of the 2014‐2020 programme. It should be noted that an evidence review of Axis 4 is being commissioned alongside this study, specifically considering the effectiveness of the LEADER approach to inform policy and delivery design post 2013. The evidence review of Axis 4 is detailed on Defra’s website1. For the purposes of this project potential contractors should still consider LEADER if this is the mechanism by which delivery has taken place relating to Axes 1 and 3.
