Tender description

There are several distinct phases of work needed to deliver this project. This is a specific scheme to provide additional accommodation for single homeless people/lone parents. This would be achieved by converting the former nursery into four one bed studio flats. Linked to this is the conversion of the existing Manager’s Office into flats of similar design and use to those described, however, these units would be slightly larger to provide additional facilities for disabled users. The latter units would be provided following a conversion of part of the former storage facilities to form the new Manager’s Office. The largest element of the project would include a phased refurbishment and upgrade of the original 1991 accommodation, including new kitchens, bathrooms, external PVCU windows and GRP composite doors, improved levels of thermal insulation in loft spaces and cavity walls, new heating, heat recovery and lighting installations, upgraded fire and Manager call systems, internal and external decorations.
