Tender description

Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) was established by the Irish Government under the Horse and Greyhound Racing Act 2001. It is a commercial semi-state body which took over the functions previously carried out by the Irish Horse Racing Authority. HRI is responsible for the administration, promotion and development of Horse Racing in Ireland. HRI IT Infrastructure spans several sites, from HRI HQ in The Curragh, to six Racecourses (including two Golf Courses).HRI have a total of 120 users across all the sites, with the vast majority based in HRI HQ. HRI required the purchase of new hardware and software in order to upgrade the environment to Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010.
