RFQ Oracle BI Discoverer Services, CCC, July 2012

Cork City Council implemented the Oracle Red Stack for JD Edwards in late 2011. This included Oracle BI Discoverer 10G and the underlying database for JD Edwards is Oracle 11G Standard Edition.ICT Staff have a good working knowledge of JD Edwards and some staff have developed reports using BI Discoverer and other reporting tools. We also have an Oracle Database Administration Service available to us if required.We would like to invite you to respond to our Request For Quotation (RFQ) for the following services for Oracle BI Discoverer:-1) Review existing implementation to ensure it is fully operational.2) Configure Oracle BI Discoverer to present JDE Oracle Database Views.3) Mentor onsite ICT Staff in developing reports via Oracle BI Discover.4) Mentor onsite ICT Staff on administration of the application.We envisage the work to take 7 days and Cork City Council may utilise further days depending on progress and performance. The 7 days may be drawn down over several months. Experience in utilsing Oracle BI Discoverer with JD Edwards and other ERP solutions would be an advantage but not mandatory. Cork City Council reserve the right to proceed or not proceed with the issuing of a Contract on foot of this RFQ.Responses should outline the following:-- Cost for 7 days consultation.- Additonal day costs.- Travel, subsistence and any other costs.- Outline of organisational and assigned staffs’ relevant experience.- Copy of Tax Clearance Certificate.- Any Additional Relevant Information.Any contract issued will be awarded from the responses on the basis of the most economically advantageous quotation aplying the following award criteria:-Awarding Criteria Weighting1 Total cost 70%2 Experience 30%
