Provision of Interpreting & Translation Service

Tender description

The Children’s University Hospital Temple Street requires a first class preferential Interpreting & Translation service. It is the intension of the Hospital to award to one vendor however the Hospital will give no guarantee in terms of type or volume of work.A main component of this service provision is the facility to supply and support Interpreters to come on site to assist in face to face verbal interpretation for both planned and emergency hospital attendances and this facility must be available 24/7 all year round. A demonstrable capacity to facilitate translations via conference call must also be available. The Children’s University Hospital also has on occasion a requirement to translate publications, documents and parts of documents from English into a number of languages for use on Information Board websites, Information Board publications and elsewhere.On occasion and when the need arises the Hospital reserves the right to engage another agency to facilitate the supply of this service.Any contract awarded as a result of this tender will be subject to the Hospitals terms and conditions of contract.A demonstrable capacity to facilitate translations via conference call must also be available.
