Integrated Sexual Health Services for West Sussex NHS West Sussex ( part of NHS Sussex ) invite Expressions of Interest from all suitably qualified and experienced healthcare providers ( including eg general practitioners, social enterprise / third sector organisations and other providers ) to provide Integrated Sexual Health Services. The aim of the service is to deliver a range of accessible, high quality, responsive, cost effective, confidential, integrated sexual health services to the population of West Sussex and to support the delivery of sexual health services in primary care and other community settings through the provision of professional training. Innovation and efficiencies in integrated service provision for improved patient access will be sought from prospective providers of the service. It is intended that the services will cover all sexual health and termination services excluding the provision of HIV treatment and care, vasectomy and female sterilisation. However, due to NHS reforms, the scope of services may in the future be expanded to include HIV treatment and care on a transitional basis. All services should be priced at local tariff by the Potential Bidder based on the estimated activity levels or on a block basis where activity levels are not provided in the Invitation to Tender. For year 1 of the contract, the contract will be a block and the commissioner will work with the provider to refine currencies and shadow monitor the activity levels to move towards an activity based contract at local tariff for future years in line with the standard NHS contract. National tariff will not apply to those services included in the integrated sexual health procurement scheme. In the event a block contract does not apply to the provision of services, no revenue guarantees will be offered and the Provider must take the commercial risk on access and referral levels.
