Individual expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified consultants Architects (ONLY) who wish to be considered for inclusion on a design team from Stage 2a to oversee a building redevelopment project Scoil Mhuire, Glenville National School, Glenville, County Cork.The Client for this project is the School Board of Management.The project entails the construction of a new 8 classroom school of approximately 1400sqm and associated ancillary accommodation, site works and demolition of the existing schoolIn addition to the accommodation brief set out in the Schedules of Accommodation, the Board of Management have requested the design team to include an additional 209m2 of floor space in the GP Area. All costs associated with this additional floor area, including any additional design team fees which may arise, will be funded directly by the Board of Management and should NOT constitute a part of this tender exercise.In the event that the request for additional floor space is approved, the additional fees to be funded by the Board of Management may be calculated based on the cost of the additional area apportioned to the approved cost of the project funded by the Department, based on the tendered fee submitted and calculated in accordance with clause 11 of the Conditions of Engagement.This project is currently at an early stage of Architectural Planning. The Stage 1 submission has been received and approved by the Department of Education & Skills.
