Limerick City Water Conservation Programme - Stage 3 Rehabilitation Strategy Investigations

A site investigation is required at various locations throughout Limerick City. A ground investigation is required to provide information relating to the sub-surface conditions of the area of interest and to locate the position of underground services and the depth of existing road construction in the proposed areas.The scope of the works envisaged under this Ground investigation is as follows:-(a)A total of 113 slit trenches along existing roads and footpaths and recording of services,(b) Taking of 95 cast iron pipe samples and soil samples as instructed.The Contractor will be required to submit a Factual Report for the Ground Investigation, as carried out under the proposed contract.The Contractor will also be required to provide all exploratory hole data in AGS digital form.The full scope of the works obligations of the contractor are to be ascertained by reference to the contract as a whole.
