Tender description

North East Procurement Service on behalf of Stockton-on-Tees PCT and the Stockton DAAT, would like to commission a service to provide a GP substance misuse treatment service and violent patient service, for adults (aged 18 and above) in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees. The successful provider will be expected to provide essential, additional and enhanced GP services, including psycho-social interventions, to patients within the substance misuse service. The service is being commissioned as part of the overall adult substance misuse treatment system in the Stockton Borough and is expected to be a fully integrated part of the Stockton treatment model. Service provider(s) will be required to work in partnership with multi agency services and the treatment model should ensure an integrated, recovery orientated community based substance misuse system. The service will also be responsible for providing the Violent Patient Scheme on behalf of Stockton-on-Tees PCT.
