To offer boating services at the lake situated in Barking Park. The service shall be designed to enhance Barking Park and to offer high quality, affordable and sustainable public boat hire. The main aims of the service are; - Makes a positive contribution towards the Council’s Culture and Sport Service Plan and Barking Park 10 year Management and Maintenance Plan - Encourages more people to visit Barking Park, to stay longer and visit more often - Embeds quality assurance - Increases participation in physical activity - Promote fit for purpose leisure facilities - Provides value for money - Promotes and supports fully inclusive access to leisure services - Continuously improves
