Redecoration of the Millennium Centre, Eastbrookend Country Park

Tender description

The Parks Ranger Services are seeking estimates for the redecoration of the Millennium Centre at Eastbrookend Country Park. The Parks Ranger Services are part of the Housing & Environment Services of the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham. The contractor is to fill, sand, smooth and prepare areas prior to application of the required coverings, to the standard agreed with the Ranger Services Manager and Senior Countryside Ranger. The estimate should include repairs to, and replacement of defective/missing handles and locks to panels and cupboard . The work will require the closure of the Visitor Centre for one week from 19 March 2012 and the contractor is expected to complete all the redecoration work listed above in this period, ready for reopening of the Visitor Centre at 8.00am on Monday 26 March 2012. If the contractor proposes to work the weekend of 24/25 March 2012 then this must be agreed in advance with the Ranger Services Manager and/ or Senior Ranger, and an allowance must be made for this in the estimate supplied.
