Tender description

The objectives to be fulfilled by this Contract through the routine tasks and additional work as may be required are as follows: i) To assist the Authority in determining an appropriate Travel Concession Scheme by providing a project plan for this activity and to keep this under review, advising the Authority of any recommended improvements or changes that may be appropriate and/or necessary in the light of factors such as, but not limited to, central government and local funding, UK and EU legislative changes; ii) To undertake in collaboration with the Authority the necessary consultations with Transport Operators in respect of the statutory pass scheme and any enhancements thereto and to undertake the formal publication of the Scheme and any follow up to this in terms of appeals and other challenges; iii) To undertake the administration of the reimbursement arrangements in respect of the pass scheme in accordance with the terms approved by the Authority and published from time to time; iv) To monitor the operation of the pass scheme using appropriate indicators; v) To provide general advice to the Authority regarding the Scheme.
