Tender description

This User Requirements Specification (URS) document sets out the requirements for a new system for the Irish Unrelated Bone Marrow Registry (IUBMR) in order that searches for haemopoietic stem cell donors can be performed for both Irish and international patients.The IUBMR system will at a minimum provide the IBTS with a single application for the following activities:HLA Search engine – running the interactive matching programMaintain patient details, patient activation, patient workup, patient follow-up, maintain patient informationMaintain donor details, donor activation, donor workup, donor follow-up, maintain donor information.Maintain reference data for lookup purposesProvide an external search engine by means of the European Marrow Donor Information System (EMDIS) communication link to facilitate external searching of donors outside the internal database.
