Two Framework Agreements for Tourism Route Interpretation and Infrastructure Planning

Fáilte Ireland is the National Tourism Development Authority, established by the Irish Government in May 2003 to guide and promote the development of tourism as a leading indigenous component of the Irish economy. To this end, Fáilte Ireland, working in partnership with the tourism industry, provides an extensive range of support services and business solutions designed specifically to develop and sustain Ireland as a high-quality and competitive tourism destination.Fáilte Ireland works in partnership with Tourism Ireland (who promote Ireland as a holiday destination to overseas markets) and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board (responsible for tourism development and marketing in Northern Ireland). It also leads an extensive domestic holiday campaign via ‘Discover Ireland,’ which features comprehensive information and listings for Irish accommodation, activities, events, tourist attractions and Irish holiday special offers.This is a contract to establish a multi-party framework agreement for suppliers to develop plans for the Interpretation and Development of Infrastructure for a number of Tourist Routes around Ireland, as well as for the Implementation of elements of these plans.
