Shannon Development request expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates for the provision, installation and maintenance of all, part, or a combination of our Telecommunications requirements which comprise the following:Wide Area Network Data:The Shannon Development network covers approximately 25 sites in the Shannon Region. Head Office is in Shannon Town Centre and this hosts the Information Systems Department and Data Centre. Connections to the sites vary depending on requirement and connectivity available in the location, the majority of these sites are DSL connections, some areas are serviced by wireless. The majority of traffic is email/file and print/ access to online business systems. Networks to some of the larger sites must support VOIP.Connection to Government Networks:From the data centre in Shannon there is a 10Mb connection to Government Networks.
