Tender description

The Works to be undertaken for this Contract comprise of a preliminary ground investigation which includes mapping of rock exposures along the existing N25, boreholes (cable percussion with follow on rotary coring in some locations), piezometer installation, trial pits, geophysical investigation, insitu testing, water monitoring and laboratory testing, to obtain and report on the required geotechnical and hydrogeological information, to allow the detailed design of the roadway and associated structures for the N25 Waterford to Glenmore road scheme.Tenderers should submit their Tenders in a sealed envelope markedTENDER FOR: N25 Waterford to GlenmoreGround Investigation Contract[name of Tenderer]Each Tender must include two paper copies and one electronic copy on compact disc or dvd. Tenderers must nominate one of the paper copies as the master, which will include the original Form of Tender, Schedule and Bill of Quantities issued by the Employer (supplemented as required under section 4.2 of the Instructions to Tenderers) completed in ink.
