Clare County Council invites tenders for the refurbishment of 17 no. local authority houses and associated site works & services at the above location.Tender documents consisting of Volume A, B & C, 'Information Pack' and 'Instructions to Tenderers' may be obtained from the Housing Section, Clare County Council. Late tenders will be returned and not considered.The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act, 1997 applies to Clare County Council. If a tenderer considers that any information supplied to him/her is either commercially sensitive or confidential in nature, it should be identified and the reasons for its sensitivity specified. In such cases, the relevant material may, subject to the Provisions of the Act, be protected from access in response to FOI requests.Tenders marked 'Tender for Remedial Works Scheme, Connaught Road, Scarriff' should be returned to Housing Section Reception, Clare County Council, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare in a sealed envelope for attention of Siobhan Mc Nulty, Senior Executive Enginner no later than 4.00pm on 10th August 2010.The contract is being tendered under the new Public Works Contract, copy of same forms part of the Works Requirements or Contracts Documents. Applicants are being invited under the Open Tender Procedure. The Tender Evaluation will be on the basis of the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT), the criteria and weightings are as follows:- Cost 60%- Health and Safety 20%- Education & Professional Qualification 5%- Relevant Experience 5%- Measurers for Ensuring Quality 5%- Technical Equipment/Techincal Bodies 5%The lowest tender will not necessarily be accepted.
