Tender description
Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) are entering into a heavy maintenance program for one of its fleets of DMU [29000].As part of the program, it will be necessary to replace a number of underframe stainless steel cabinets due to corrosion of the existing cabinets.The new stainless steel cabinets will be reverse engineered from the existing cabinets. The cabinets will be fitted with hinged doors and an agreed locking mechanism. Additionally, the cabinets will have a high IP rating to prevent dirt and water ingress.There will be a requirement to produce a CAD drawing of the enclosures as part of the contract.
