Tender description
The Works consist of the soft stripping, removal of hazardous materials and demolition and disposal of the concrete arisings from 2/3 no flat blocks. The Blocks consist of 9 storeys (8 occupied floor levels over basement level) and contain 96 individual flats in each block.The Blocks to be demolished are Balency type large panel system buildings consisting of precast concrete walls and insitu concrete floors. The external walls are double leaf sandwich panels and the internal walls consist of single leaf precast concrete panel walls.
