Tender description

This is a contract to conduct a survey, securing completed responses from 1,500 SMEs, to ascertain the situation in relation to:- the demand for credit from SMEs;- their level of knowledge on their rights in relation to credit;- the reasons given for refusal of credit and;- the failure of SMEs to seek credit.The purpose of the survey is to provide data on the demand for credit by SMEs in the period April-September 2011.The survey should ensure that the respondents consist of a reasonable spread of micro, small and medium sized SMEs. It is envisaged that completed responses would be secured from at least 1,500 SMEs. The data received should then be broken down under relevant headings and the information compiled in the relevant tabular or graphical format. A narrative should then be constructed based around the results and a full report setting out the survey outcomes should be prepared for submission to the Department of Finance by Monday 14 November 2011.
