Supply, Installation & Commissioning of Automatic Incident Detection Traffic Monitoring Units

Tender description

a) Provision of AID sites containing the necessary Traffic Monitoring Unit and detectors to facilitate the installation of the AID traffic inductive loops , TMU and associated equipment;b) Undertaking such design and development work and liaison with the Employer as necessary to ensure that the equipment being supplied by the Contractor integrates with the Employer’s existing Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) ATMS system;c) At AID sites, supply and install all feeder cables and cable terminations to include without limitations, jointing, marking and connection as required to link the TMU equipment cabinets to the appropriate inductive loops;d) Testing and commissioning of each AID location;e) Undertake the full system handover to include, without limitations, the provision of all required spares, documentation and training;f) Full maintenance of AID sites for a period of 6 months;g) Undertaking all necessary liaising liaison with relevant parties and Employer’s representatives in connection with the integration of AID with the Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS);h) Undertaking all necessary liaising with relevant parties interested in the management of the M50 and operation of equipment being supplied and installed and obtaining all such approvals as required to facilitate the installation of the equipment being supplied under the Contract.
