Fáilte Ireland is the National Tourism Development Authority, established by the Irish Government in May 2003 to guide and promote the development of tourism as a leading indigenous component of the Irish economy. Further information on Fáilte Ireland can be found on our website www.failteireland.ieThis is a contract for the development of the Tourism and Hospitality Programme.The aspect of development work to be carried out includes:-Editing, proofing and alignment of tourism and hospitality course documentation (produced by specialist teams) to NQAI standards – HETAC and FETAC as appropriate.-Development of teacher/instructor notes for providers of Fáilte Ireland Guiding Programmes.-Development of Guidelines to Assessment for Guiding Programmes.-Training of Internal Assessors of Fáilte Ireland Guiding Programmes.-External examination of a range of Fáilte Ireland Guiding Programmes.-Any other work of a similar nature required by Failte Ireland.Further details are in Appendix A of attached RFT document.
