MEDWAY ROAD RESIDENTIAL IMPROVEMENT WORKS IN THE BOROUGH OF CRAWLEY Crawley Borough Council is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake the construction of residential improvement work in Medway Road, Crawley, West Sussex. The works will involve the removal of areas of verge, footpath and green space to create additional on street parking spaces, the works will entail excavation, drainage - pipe laying and manhole construction, kerbing, tarmacing, road markings and signage, grass reinstatement, installation of street furniture and street lighting. There will also be diversionary works to existing services, some of which will be undertaken by the statutory undertaker during the main scheme construction period and these will require excavation and reinstatement works by the contractor.
