Fáilte Ireland is the National Tourism Development Authority, established by the Irish Government in May 2003 to guide and promote the evolution of tourism as a leading indigenous component of the Irish economy. To this end, Fáilte Ireland, working in partnership with the tourism industry, provides an extensive range of support services and business solutions designed specifically to develop and sustain Ireland as a high-quality and competitive tourism destination.Our vision for Irish tourism is that of a dynamic, innovative, sustainable and highly regarded sector offering international and domestic visitors a positive and memorable experience beyond their expectations.The Golf Industry, working with Fáilte Ireland, has identified the need to provide the consumer an all-Ireland tee time availability search. It should be noted that this is not equivalent to a “search and booking” mechanism. Research has highlighted that no single provider covers a suitable spread of available online tee times across all 32 Irish counties. As such we require a service that will allow the user to search across a number of tee time providers and return the results into a consolidated list. From there a number of booking links will be presented to the user. We are asking interested parties who are currently engaged in the provision of electronic tee sheets or search mechanisms to the golf industry to express an interest for the supply of this service.
