Tender description
The National Transport Authority (NTA), in cooperation with the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) wishes to undertake surveys of passengers at Dublin Airport – one survey in August and a second survey in October 2011. The purpose of the surveys is to obtain accurate daily and weekly profiles of travel patterns to and from Dublin Airport and hence help inform both the NTA and the DAA in planning for the current and future surface access needs of the Airport. The NTA also intends that the Airport surveys will provide essential travel data both for the update of its existing GDA transport model and for the development of a new National Transport Model (NTM).A similar passenger survey was undertaken at Dublin Airport in August 2001, and the NTA now wishes to replicate / update this survey to examine how passenger travel patterns and trends have altered over the intervening ten year period.
