Tender description
Strip out and replacement of entire heating services installation in this school.This is a 16 classroom school with GP Hall, Administration offices, Sanitary and boilerhouse.The school area is approximately 2300m2.The existing oil fired system will be decommissioned, removed and a new natural gas system installed in its place. The existing boiler plant, controls and pumps including all interconnecting pipework will be stripped out and replaced with new. All Radiators will be replaced with new. The existing single pipe GB LPHW distribution system will be completely stripped out and replaced with a new multi-zone two pipe distribution system. All new heating pipework will be GB and will be lagged with a high performance foil backed insulation. A new natural gas connection will be required and liason with Bord Gais will be required.The contract will require a high level of expertise in commercial grade heating systems and advanced BMS Controls.
