Tender description

The mechanical contractor for this project will take responsibility as the main contractor responsible for all associated work. The successful Tenderer will also be required to act as PSCS for the duration of the Works.The contract involves the replacement of the entire heating and water services within the 3 buildings within the school complex. Heating in the newer school, 1990’s building shall remain. However, the existing boilers currently serving the newer school, located in the boiler house within the newer school building, shall be replaced and upgraded to accommodate the newer and older schools. New pumps, pipework and controls shall be provided within the boiler house for the new system. All pipework and pumps serving the newer school shall remain. The radiators and pipework within the school shall be de-commissioned and removed. A new heating system complete with controls shall be installed in the main building.
