Tender description
NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) is looking for an occupational health service provider. The occupational health service must be consistent, accessible and fair. It must: Enable NHSBT to employ staff whose health will not adversely affect the work they are expected to undertake; Meet employee's expectations of a healthy working environment and a healthy life, that will not be adversely affected by their work, and this will be achieved by risk assessment; Enable NHSBT to employ people with disabilities, having had the risks to the business and other employees assessed; this specifically includes the receipt of competent advice on their employment, the need for any workplace modifications and/or safe systems of work; Enjoy the confidence of all users of the service by the quality of its advice and maintenance of confidentiality. NHSBT is asking Occupational Health Service providers to respond to Pre Qualification Questions, to enable Invitations To Tender (ITT) to be sent out, for either a full Occupational Health and Wellbeing (OH&W) partner (Option One) or an Occupational Health Service (OHS) provider (Option Two). The following lists identify the essential requirements of each option. Please note that within the pre-qualification questionnaire, (found at https://nhsbt.bravosolution.co.uk) failure to confirm ability to comply with any of the essential aspects will exclude the organisation from the procurement process going forward and any points available in respect of the desirable aspects will be made clear in the documentation provided with the PQQ. Option one: Provision of OH&W Service Partner Essentials: Access for management purposes Pre-employment screening Sickness Absence management - for staff not based in main centres.
