Tender description

The Works include undertaking structural investigations of 40 bridges in County Kerry to determine the thickness; reinforcement size, type and cover; concrete grade etc for deck slabs, beams and certain supporting elements as per the NRA Stage 1 Assessment Methodology Report. The Work will involve the provision of access, traffic management, excavation of trial holes to expose and allow testing/sampling of the decks, and reinstatement of exploratory holes. Factual reports of the findings of the investigations are also required to allow others to undertake structural assessments of the load carrying capacity of these bridges.
