Tender description

The National Educational Welfare Board is responsible for ensuring that every child either attends school or otherwise receives an education. The Board also has responsibility for the registration of young people who leave school to enter employment.The Board wishes to appoint a panel of legal firms who will provide legal services to the Board for the Educational Welfare Services as follows:- Support for court work under Section 25 and Section 29 and circuit court applications underSection 10 (5) and will include any appeals, etc.- Legal advice pertaining to The Education (Welfare) Act 2000.- Legal support and advice for education outside of recognized schools.A detailed outline of requirements can be found at Section 2 Legal Services in the attached document.
