Tender description

The Contract involves the provision of archaeological consultancy services required in advance of construction of the proposed M9 Kilcullen Service Area (SA), comprising, test excavations and surveys [Stage (i)]; pre-excavation services [Stage (ii)]; archaeological excavation [Stage (iii)]; post-excavation services and dissemination [Stage (iv)].The location of the required services is on the site of the proposed MSA on the west side of the M9 motorway in the townlands of Kilgowan and Halverstown, 4.5 km south of Kilcullen, County Kildare, Republic of Ireland. The total area of the Lands Made Available for the Contract is approximately 11. 9 hectares (2.4 ha - East site + 9.5 ha - West site).
