BackgroundDun Laoghaire - Rathdown County Council invites tender submissions for the application of a residual herbicide on roads and footpaths throughout the county.Nature of Contract.Quotes are sought for the application of a residual herbicide on roads and footpaths throughout the county. Some of these works are undertaken by direct labour, with the majority undertaken by private contractor.The county will be split into three similar sized zones to facilitate the weed spraying throughout the county in a relatively short timeframe. Contractors may submit interest in providing a weed spraying service in one or more of the zones depending on their available resources.Nomix Dual or any other equivalent product that provides a minimum of 6 month residual will be considered acceptable. The technical data of the chosen product is to be submitted with the quote.The product must have a proven record of providing a minimum of 6 month residual.
