External Provision of Home Care

Tender description

West Sussex County Council and NHS West Sussex invite expressions of interest for the provision of a range of Home Care Services to residents of West Sussex. This includes, but is not limited to, adults over 18 years, including older people with physical disabilities and mental health problems and Children with physical and/or learning disabilities, sensory impairments and those on the autistic spectrum (“the Services”). The County Council intends to enter into one or more Framework Agreements following a two-stage, restricted like process, starting with a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire. The Framework Agreements will be awarded to those providers who successfully pre-qualify and then submit the most economically advantageous tenders based on the overall quality and cost offered for the specified Part B Services. Providers can express their interest to supply these Part B Services to Adults only, Children only or both Adults and Children. Providers will be required to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high quality services to this customer grouping, either in West Sussex or other Local Authorities. Successful providers will also be required to be flexible in their approach to the development and provision of future Home Care Services, which may include, but not limited to, more rehabilitative work along the lines of Regaining Independence Support Services. Following award, providers will be required to work together to ensure the delivery to customers of all care packages commissioned by the Council and NHS West Sussex. Whilst every effort has been made to consider the full scope of the requirement the Council and NHS West Sussex does not guarantee the volume of Services required resulting from this tender or that it will accept any tender on completion of the tender exercise.
