Tender description
Location The scheme is located on the M6 Southbound carriageway between junctions 36 and 37. The carriageway is dual three-lane motorway with hard shoulders. The works are to the southbound carriageway only. Details of Work The works include the following: - Resurfacing of all running lanes, to a depth of 40mm, over 8.8km. The works are programmed to commence on the 15th February 2010 and be completed by 28th March 2010 a period of 6 weeks. Traffic Management It is envisaged that the works will be undertaken under lane closures and complete carriageway closures. There will be a mandatory 50mph speed restriction over the full length of the works.
