London2012: Inspiring Sustainable Living

Tender description

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (“the Authority”) is seeking Third Sector Organisations to submit a proposal for a grant using the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games as an inspiration for sustainable living. Organisations are to put in place activities that promote pro-environmental behaviour in individuals and communities. The activities can take place anywhere in the UK and need not be sport related. The purpose of this pre-selection stage is for Potential Grant Recipients to submit concept notes and to enable the Authority to assess the suitability of Potential Grant Recipients in terms of technical or professional ability. The Authority intends to arrive at a short list of a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 15 Potential Grant Recipients to invite to submit a full proposal against the requirements set out in the specification. Only Potential Grant Recipients who are successful at this stage will be invited to proceed to the next stage of the grant award process.
