Tender description

The Highways Agency (HA) aims to go out to tender for an On-line Car Share Database Scheme for HA employees. This will cover each of the 8 HA offices, 6 Regional Control Centres (RCCs) and the National Traffic Control Centre (NTCC). After a 2 month set up period, it is intended that the Scheme will be fully operable from 1 June 2010. The HA’s requirements include; a) a site that is easy to use and navigate with clear signposts for finding information b) an HA branded site that includes the “Smart Travel…Smart Choices brand” c) a robust matching system that effectively measures and reports emissions and cost savings d) a system that matches people by any mode of transport including walking (walk buddies), cycling (bike buddies), bus, train and taxi partners e) an annual site licence to cover all system maintenance and client support f) production of statistics and analysis reports g)astute marketing h) local administrator access i) factoring in the HA’s ‘Guaranteed Lift Home Policy’
