Central Procurement Directorate CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY TRAINING BOARD REFURBISHMENT OF MOBILE TRAINING UNIT (MTU) The Central Procurement Directorate (CPD), Supplies and Services Division (SSD) on behalf of CITB wishes to appoint a service provider to refurbish and upgrade their mobile training unit. CITB operates as an executive non-departmental public body (NDBP) of the Department for Employment and Learning and is authorised to raise a levy from the Northern Ireland construction industry to fund activities and services that aim to encourage adequate training. The MTU as its name implies has the capacity to bring training ‘to the site’. The existing unit has a seating capacity for 20 adults and visits construction sites and construction establishments throughout Northern Ireland.
