INI Provision of Employment Law Advice & Guidance (ELAG)

Tender description

Invest Northern Ireland (INI) wishes to appoint a service provider to provide an Employment Law Advice & Guidance Service (ELAG). The aim of ELAG is to provide Invest NI clients with current employment law compliance advice on people management issues aimed at meeting short term needs. The emphasis should be on offering practical options including an assessment of risk to assist clients’ decisions. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in August 2009. Invest NI requires the successful service provider to have the ELAG service in place as soon as possible after the award and it should be operational no later than 1st September 2009. The contract will run for an initial period of 1 year but may be extended for two further periods of one year subject to review.
