Tender description

The works are located as follows: 1.A1 (M) northbound and southbound approaches to junction 60, Bradbury Interchange 2.A19 northbound and southbound approaches to A19/A689 Wolviston Interchange The works involve the erection of 8 no. Variable Message Signs (MS3) with associated works as detailed below: 1.Erection of 4 VMS on the A1(M), two on the northbound and two on the southbound approach to Junction 60 2.Erection of 4 VMS on the A19, two on the northbound and two on the southbound approach to Wolviston interchange. 3.Erection of a new 1 mile Advance Direction Sign, on the A19 northbound approach to Wolviston interchange. 4.Ancillary works including: a.New vehicle restraint systems b.New footways and hardstanding areas c.Electrical and communication works d.New CCTV cameras e.Contractor designed foundations It is envisaged that the work will be undertaken under lane closures with main carriageway closure for erecting VMS signs. There will be a mandatory 50mph speed restriction over the full length of the traffic management.
